What inspired the YOUNiVERSE art work?

YOUNiVERSE is you, experiencing the creation of yourself, both as the creation, and the creator. YOUNiVERSE is a symbolic expression of you, as a being of form and consciousness - and simultaneously of you, as the universe.

Do you believe or perceive yourself to be a physical being, having spiritual experiences? Or do you believe yourself to be a spirit, having physical experiences? The way in which you answer defines how you view the events of your life as they unfold.

At it’s core, YOUNiVERSE is embedded with the Om (Aum) symbol. It’s commonly translated to mean peace and unity. However, this is an ancient symbol which represents the whole universe, and the first sound of creation. It’s a visual expression of our unity with one another and all things. We are all individually and collectively part of one vast interconnected universe on levels so deep that it can go beyond the grasp of comprehension.

Scientists tell us at that billions of years ago, something about the size of a pea suddenly expanded to form the universe and everything in it. Similarly, in ancient Indian philosophy, the 'Bindu' is the circular seed-like centre point of all creation. All things emerged from that tiny point and expanded outwardly as primal energy (Kundalini), and nature (Prakriti).

In Hinduism, they called the creation of the universe the Brahman out-breath. Brahma, is their name for the infinite universal consciousness (God, as some people call it). Brahma awakened from a deep sleep and breathed out. The vibration which occurred during this awakening was the first sound. This sound became the vibratory root of all creation. For thousands of years, mystical and spiritual traditions around the world have shared their knowledge that, Aum (Om) is the sound of the Universe - made by the ‘cosmic vibration of creation’. Vibration is movement, and movement is energy. Everything is made of energy vibrating at different frequencies.

During its creation, the universe became aware of itself. This moment catalysed a spark of consciousness which spiralled around itself, outwardly seeding itself as a vast expansion of space and energy as a container for all things to manifest within its essence as it expanded, before circling back within itself. It is from this primordial point of consciousness that all things emerge, manifesting into being as form, then return to formless once more as they reunite with their original source. Another way to think of it is an infinite cycle - a continuous flowing loop or energy reincarnating itself and continuously evolving with each new incarnation. YOUNiVERSE is you, infinitely experiencing the creation of yourself, both as the creation, and the creator.

Whichever creation theory resonates with you most, there is an intelligent matrix of divine intelligence that permeates all things - interwoven within and throughout the universe.
