What inspired the Whispering Soul art work?

What does the soul look like - The ‘part’ of ourselves that infuses our temporary bodies, evokes intuition, inspiration, guidance, wisdom and knowingness? It is perhaps hard, if not impossible, to capture in visual form the image of a soul.

Have you ever tried to sense internally what a soul looks like? If so, what image do you perceive? When I sat quietly to respond to this question, this whispering ‘Soul’ image appeared for me.

Creating the video for this piece gave me the opportunity to attempt to visually describe the essence and energies that radiate outwardly from the magic of our souls. Also, it gave me the opportunity to vocalise some of its wisdom, so that we may hear it speaking to us. If you could hear you own soul speak, in the same way that you hear another person speaking, attempting to offer you some timeless wisdom; guiding you through your dealings with others, who at times seem to be rude, offensive, ungrateful or in some other way troublesome… what would it say? The words in this video offer an idea of what.
