What inspired the Seed of Transcendence art work?

This image representing Transcendence is imbued with the symbol and energy of the Sri Yantra; the source of all energy, power, and creativity.

The magical process of self-transcendence occurs as the result intentional meditation. During meditation, we can achieve altered states of consciousness, or transcend ourselves completely. Transcending means: to be, or go beyond the range or limits of a field of activity, or a conceptual sphere. Transcending the mind can feel like going deeper into your consciousness, or feeling as though your consciousness is expanding outwards. Transcending through various altered states of consciousness can evoke a multitude of experiences that are often impossible to describe. They can take us to the core essence of our being until we become completely absorbed there. The sense of being a separate ‘me’ disappears completely, creating a sense of union and absorption within the source of all things. Everything is connected, and we become one with all, interwoven within and throughout the universe.
